Support for teachers: FREE AO2 and AO3 resources

Don’t forget: Episode 2 of our Sherlock Holmes competition appears tomorrow!

In this competition, Holmes and Watson are set a series of fiendish AO2 and AO3 mathematical clues they must solve in order to find out who stole the world’s largest ruby, the Devil’s Eye, and why.

Don’t worry if you missed Episode 1, you can catch up with all the action at a glance on this page of our blog.  In a word: it’s a way of having fun, while training your GCSE Maths students in the art of problem-solving.  AO2 and AO3 questions will account for 50% of marks in the new-look exams.
